Hydroponic Nutrients & Boosters

Nutrients can be broken down into four principal fields: Non-mineral elements, micronutrients, primary macronutrients and secondary macronutrients.
Non-mineral elements are hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. These readily available minerals are in the air and water you provide plants with.
Primary macronutrients are the most important type of hydroponic nutrients and form the majority of the nutrients needed in a hydroponic growth environment.

These nutrients are usually required in large qualities and are made up using potassium, nitrogen, and phosphorus. These form the core building blocks for plant growth.
Secondary macronutrients are needed in smaller amounts and consist of calcium, magnesium and sulphur. All are playing important parts in vital plant growth processes.

Micronutrients, iron, boron, copper, manganese, magnesium, zinc, etc. are needed in much smaller amounts than the macronutrients but are just as important. Plants need these to complete chlorophyll formation, carry oxygen, form seeds improve taste and colour, etc.

Undersupply of these elements will produce a deficiency in your plants, which will have an impact on plant health and overall yield. Having the right type of Hydroponics nutrients will not only increase the speed of growth in your plants but will also ensure that they grow to be robust healthy and disease/pest resistant.
