Intelligent Ignition prevents electrical surges when multiple ballasts start up. Soft start technology gently starts your lamps for longer lamp life. The 600w Lumii Black Digital Kit is built with fast lamp re-strike to safely re-ignite hot lamps with minimum stoppage time. This is excellent value, providing  a high grade digital light kit, without the need for cutting corners on quality.

The Maxibright 600w Dual Spectrum Lamp is a High Pressure Sodium (HPS) Lamp with an E40 fitting.

The majority of the light produced is in the orange/red part of the spectrum giving enhanced flowering capabilities , there is enough blue given off to make this lamp ideal for vegetative growth and flowering. The Vari Drive is great value for money providing reliability and quality when the budget is tight.

Horticultural lamp light output will decrease with use. We recommend that growers replace lamps at regular intervals to maintain optimum yields.

The Maxibright Dual Spec Lamp offers 20,000 life hours and 88,000 Lumens.

 Note – As soon as lamps are switched on they will run extremely hot. Before handling, lamps should be switched off, the ballast disconnected and allowed to cool down.

All high-pressure sodium and metal halide lamps need to be handled with care, avoid touching the lamp and particular care should be taken when using sprays or liquids around hot lamps as this may cause failure or explosion.

Maxibright Vari Drive 600w Digital Variable Ballast

The 600w Vari Variable Ballast is another  premium quality digital balls produced by Hydrogarden. The Lumii black ballasts produces more PAR light (usable plant light) and use less electricity than traditional magnetic core and coil ballasts. The digital intelligent ignition feature prevents electrical surges when multiple ballasts start up, there is also soft start technology, which will increase lamp life.

Featuring the very useful  4-way dimmer switch that allows growers to dim lamp output power to either 250W, 400W or 600W you can also increase power by 10% using the overdrive function, taking lamps to 660w which can be especially useful during the flowering cycle.

The Maxibright digital ballast also has RF shielding so will not interfere with other electrical equipment in your home.

Please note – Digital ballasts run much cooler than magnetic ballast but can still be warm so should be located on a firm flat surface (not carpet) in a well-ventilated area.

To be able to power up and down you need to start with a 600w lamp, this can then be dimmed to 400w and 250w or boosted to 660w. The Maxibright is built to last and is here to stay!
