What is VitaLink pH Down Easy?
VitaLink pH Down Easy is a concentrated acid solution that comprises 25% Phosphoric acid. It can be used to lower the pH level of almost any liquid, and mostly a plant’s nutrient solution.
What is the use of VitaLink pH Down Easy?
VitaLink PH Down Easy is necessary for the growth and bloom phase of a plant growing in hydroponics or aeroponics. It’s used to lower the pH of the nutrient solution to adjust it to be within a certain range required to grow these plants.
How does VitaLink pH Down Easy work?
VitaLink PH Down Easy should be added with controlled doses to lower the pH of the nutrient solutions. After mixing the small doses thoroughly with the nutrient solutions, it should be measured with a calibrated pH meter to reach the desired reading. VitaLink PH Down Easy is ideal for adjusting smaller volumes of nutrient solutions.
Why would I need VitaLink pH Down Easy?
It’s necessary to keep your nutrient solutions’ pH within a certain range when you’re growing plants in hydroponics or aeroponics. While different plant species have different requirements, in general, most plants like a pH of 5.5% - 6.5, and VitaLink pH Down Easy is used to raise the acidity of the nutrient solutions to be within this range by adding the correct amount.

- Cautious: pH up and down can cause severe burns. It should be kept away from children. pH Up and Down can react very violently if mixed; use separate measuring gadgets when adjusting the pH values.
VitaLink pH Down VitaLink pH Down 25% phosphoric acid and can be used to reduce the pH of a nutrient solution. Phosphoric acid also provides a source of Phosphorus, which can be used by plants in Bloom. When growing indoors the pH value of nutrients fed to plants needs to be controlled. Plants are able to absorb nutrients more easily at a pH value of between 5.5 – 6.5. For plants to perform to their full potential pH will need to be monitored and adjusted at regular intervals( daily if possible). Adjust pH by adding a small amount of VitaLink pH Down to the nutrient solution, then recheck the pH value, repeat this until the pH reaches the value required
Note - VitaLink pH up and down can cause severe burns to keep out of the reach of children. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. pH Up and pH Down react violently if they come into contact with each other. Never mix them together. Use separate measuring equipment when adjusting pH values.
