Using a Stewart Heated Propagator is a great way of propagating cuttings. Heated propagators are best used when the room you are using is too cold. Stewart heated propagators work by using a thermostat to controls a small heater in the base tray this maintains an ideal environment for cuttings and seeds to grow. These heated propagators have a thermostat that’s set to a single optimum temperature for plants to thrive.

To root cuttings effectively they need to be in a closed environment, this enables control fragile young plants growing environment, a high humidity environment is necessary to prevent your cuttings from wilting and dying. Humidity can then be reduced as the cuttings begin to root and become able to take on water through the newly formed root system.
